Our business began when Daniel Lord was inspired to automate the repetitive, lower value aspects of his work as a Senior Market Analyst.
Daniel believed there was a more effective and efficient way of sharing knowledge, which would also increase the value of research for publishers and subscribers. In 2003, he founded Content Catalyst.

CEO and Founder
Daniel is an innovation specialist and leads the development of our technology and consultancy partnerships. Daniel is a former senior analyst at Datamonitor and strategy consultant at Durlacher. Daniel holds an MSc. in Physics from Durham University.
Chief Operating Officer & Director of Marketing
Edwin has over 20 years’ experience in trade, professional and business publishing and information including stints at FT Business and Informa. He currently looks after operations and marketing. Edwin holds a BA in Geography from University College London.
Chief Technology Officer
Ben has over 20 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence and was the lead backend architect at True Knowledge, which was acquired and became Amazon Alexa. As Chief Technology Officer, Ben brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the role to innovate for research publishers.
Director of Product
Mark has 10 years’ experience of building technology products in the publishing industry, and overseas our product team, to help deliver value to our customers. Mark holds a BSc. in Computer Science from University of Leeds.
Director of Client Services
Kellie helps clients achieve their business objectives by maximising their use of our software. Kellie has worked extensively in sales and account roles with multinational customers across a wide range of sectors. Kellie holds a 1st Class BA in International Business Management with Spanish from Northumbria University.
