Client Success Account Manager

Location: Remote (but within 2 hours travel time of Leeds, Cambridge or Norwich)
Job Type: Full time or 4 days week
Salary: £30-35k pro-rata, plus bens

Content Catalyst is looking for a bright and able Client Success Account Manager to join our expanding Customer Services team.

We are a fast-growing, award-winning software company serving the B2B publishing sector, providing sophisticated browser-based publishing platforms to an ever-burgeoning customer base.
You will be working with external clients to build relationships, understand their needs and requirements and demonstrate product value. You will also collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional client service.

Full on-the-job training will be provided, but excellent communication skills and the ability to think for yourself are essential.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills within B2B.
  • Ability to understand and identify issues, delegating to relevant team specialists where necessary.
  • Passionate about good customer service and keen to make improvements to current processes.
  • Enjoy problem solving
  • Degree from a UK top 40 university or international equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer-facing account management or account executive role.
  • Experience in the publishing, research, technology or professional services sectors would be a plus.


As a key member of our team, the Client Success Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Understanding customer needs and drivers.
  • Building strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels.
  • Leading international client calls that may sometimes require early and late starts.
  • Negotiating renewals and upgrades.
  • Analysing usage stats and feature adoption data.
  • Developing proposals with clients and preparing the appropriate contracts.
  • Understanding customers business models and growth plans.
  • Dispute resolution.
  • Keeping HubSpot up to date to ensure clarity between all business functions.
  • Facilitating dialogue between Technical and Commercial teams.
  • Working closely with the Client Success team to ensure a happy customer journey.
  • Feeding back important client information to the wider team.
